Polar’s Vantage V Titan utilises premium and rugged materials that add durability and agility. The new design is lighter in weight than the original Vantage V and yet packs more of a punch than ever before. The construction is ultra-durable, waterproof and ready for action in the most extreme conditions.
The activity tracker comes with an integrated Polar Precision Prime heart rate sensor which is built-in to the wrist of the tracker’s design. The innovating sensor fusion technology combines optical heart rate measurement with skin contact measurement – ruling out any motion artifacts that could disturb the heart rate signal. This provides reliable heart rate monitoring in the most demanding conditions and intense training sessions.
When your training to achieve a specific goal it’s important to find the balance between different types of training and rest. The Recovery Pro feature carefully monitors your training load from each training session, measures your daily and long-term recovery levels and helps you recognise limits. The tracker therefore helps you to recognise your personal limits by informing you if you have been training too much, too little, or just the right amount. The Vantage V gives you personalised training recommendation for each day and warns you when you’re at risk of overtraining, injury, or illness.
Built for multiple different sports the activity tracker supports over 130 different sports - add all your favourite sports using the Polar Flow app.
Stay connected on the move and receive your phone’s notifications to the Vantage V Titan’s display. This includes incoming calls, messages, emails, calendar events and more.
The activity tracker provides a holistic view on how your training sessions strain different systems of your body and how it can affect your overall performance. The Training Load Pro feature gives you a training load level for both your cardiovascular and your musculoskeletal system, and also takes into account how strained you feel. This allows you to optimise your training and focus on the right system at the right time.
The Cardio Load value tells you how much strain your training session has put on your cardiovascular system. This is calculated, as training impulse (TRIMP), after every training session using your heart rate data.
Meanwhile, Muscle Load shows the strain put on your muscles during a training session. This is calculated through your power data. Muscle Load helps you to quantify your training load in high-intensity training sessions, such as short intervals, sprints and hill sessions, when your heart rate doesn’t have enough time to react to the changes in intensity.
The Perceived Load value takes into account your own objective experience of how demanding your training session was. Quantified with a Rate of Perceived Exertion your Perceived Load levels indicates how hard a training session can compare to your session average from the past 90 days.
A system that specifically helps your monitor the external load of your running. The feature uses GPS and barometer data to track your running data and show’s your progress and whether your current training session is pushing you hard enough.
The Vantage V Titan is also designed for use during swimming. The tracker automatically detects your heart rate, swimming style, distance, pace, strokes and rest times. This works both in the pool and outdoors.
Also recorded is an estimate of your running VO2max and see how your running performance is developing.
See how many calories you’ve burned based on your weight, height, age, gender, your individual maximum heart rate and how hard your training.
The Vantage V Titan also provides a personal and adaptive training plan that fits you and your goals.
Throughout your training receive motivating feedback immediately after a workout describing the effect of the session.
Sleep is crucial to a speedy and affective recovery and helps boost your overall, daily performance. Polar’s Sleep Plus automatically detects the timing, amount and quality of your sleep.
