Traction is provided via a Michelin rubber tread, it's 28% more abrasion resistant than TPU for awesome durability and it's also sticky and grippy on both pedals and rough and slippery ground.

The upper of the X-Trail shoe is formed using a wonderfully comfortable 3D mesh which is then coated with a wear-resistant protective film and features impact-resistant reinforcements - this is one tough shoe, easily up to the demands of all your dirt riding. To get your foot comfortable, the 3 asymmetrical straps allow you to apply just the right amount of hold and pressure where you need it and they work come rain or shine, dust or mud. Lastly, the integrated heel system reduces bulk and prevents heel lift as you push and pull on the pedals.
