In order to maintain a balance of protection and breathability, Mavic adds mesh panels to the underarm and laser cut holes to the rear that helping venting when wearing a backpack. The semi-loose fit and complex patterning are combined with set-in sleeves to create a jersey that offers a precise fit when riding, not too tight but then again not so loose that it flaps about. A wide silicone gripper holds the jersey in place at the waist.
