The Gran Fondo 1.3 features a high-quality C10 carbon fibre frameset that Fuji has equipped with a smooth-shifting Shimano 105 2x11-Speed groupset with hydraulic disc brakes and it rolls fast upon Oval Concepts wheels wrapped in high-grip Vittoria Zaffiro Pro V road tyres.

Fuji's VRTech [Vibration Reduction Technology] is a PU [Polyurethane] treated natural fibre strategically placed within the Gran Fondo's high-modulus carbon fibre layup that dissipates high-frequency vibrations. VRTech enhanced frames also reduce road vibration by 24.6% compared to non VRTech frames.
The Gran Fondo features Fuji's endurance geometry which includes a taller headtube and longer chainstays that put the rider in a more upright riding position for increased bicycle stability. Models with endurance geometry still provide a fast and spirited ride but without the discomfort of an aggressive race posture.
