The chest gets treated to CE EN1621-1 level protection via D3O® armour while the back insert, also using D3O®, is rated to CE EN1621-2 level 2. When you're on the bike and shredding the D3O® is soft and flexible, allowing unhindered movement. However, in the event of a crash and ground impacts, the armour stiffens to absorb harmful forces upon the body. 

With all this protection you may think you'll feel restricted. But not a bit of it. The armour conforms to your body, leaving you fully mobile as you whip tabletops and navigate steep rocky trails. The form-fitting body is also quick-wicking and breathable, giving comfort during even the rowdiest of rides.

Open mesh zones also add extra ventilation to keep you cooler while spacer mesh under both the chest and back guards provides comfort and extra moisture control. All the armour is removable too, letting you wash your vest and keep everything fresh and clean for your next shred session.
