Wiggle började sin resa som Butlers Cycles, en liten självständig cykelbutik som grundades i Portsmouth, Storbritannien 1920. År 1999 tog Butlers Cycles steget över till e-handel med hemsidan wiggle.co.uk.

Genom att fokusera på att erbjuda oslagbara priser och fantastisk kundservice så blev Wiggle snabbt ett namn att räkna med i Storbritannien och började därefter expandera globalt. Vi har nu vuxit så pass att vi är världsledande inom försäljningen av cykel- löpar och simprodukter på nätet. För närvarande säljer vi våra produkter till mer än 70 länder med ett val bland 14 valutor och vår hemsida är dessutom översatt till 10 olika språk.

Vårt lager är över 85,000 sq. ft. stort och vi lagerför mer än 2 miljoner produkter!

  • Ensure customer queries are answered promptly and completely via both Chat and Email
  • Offer technical support on the whole Wiggle product range, with the objective of ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Calling customers when they request a call back service to provide detailed product information and recommendations and resolve issues.
  • Ensure that all communications with customers are conducted in a professional and courteous manner
  • Offering alternative solutions where appropriate with the objective of ensuring customer satisfaction.

About the Job

As the UX Designer you will be responsible for assisting the Senior UX Designer in developing the user experience of the Wiggle website across all customer contact points. You will take customer journey pain points and propose solutions that always promote user needs but that take into account business goals and technical capabilities. You will liaise with product owners, business stakeholders, and researchers in order to understand business data and needs, all the while being a champion for our users. You will work alongside a front-end design team and IT teams either internal or remotely located to develop new functionality.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Represent the customer-focused UX strategy. Provide support and represent the customer for both large projects and smaller day-to-day work. You will be integrating with an Agile IT workflow and will employ data from a variety of qualitative and quantitative sources
  • Problem-solving. Employ creative, problem-solving skills to translate conceptual ideas (business needs and user goals) into interaction and design solutions
  • UX deliverables. Produce and present a range of deliverables including wireframes, prototypes, user journeys and usability reviews
  • UX Advocate. Work with stakeholders to ensure buy-in and that all business priorities have been considered. Communicate at all levels the scope of changes and ensure there is a forum for feedback
  • Support a testing programme. Working with the Customer Insight and eCommerce teams, support a program of continuous research and improvement
  • Assist front-end design. Work closely with the front end design team to ensure the HTML / CSS assets are in line with the UX wireframes and support modern accessibility standards
  • International focus. Liaise with (internal) international teams to ensure the customer experience is optimised locally

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Previous UX or User Interface Design experience
  • Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Balsamiq etc.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Device-agnostic approach to design
  • Solid understanding of UX customer-first best practice and web standards

This role is essential to the growth of our business, at a time when we are expanding quickly and as we evolve, we need to bring in experienced talent to make sure that we maintain our position in the marketplace.  As part of the Marketing Department, you will work closely with teams across Commercial, Marketing, International and Finance to evolve our pricing strategy within Wiggle’s overall customer proposition.

Accountabilities:

  • Understand the marketplace
  • Review, record and update the business on competitor pricing and promotional activity
  • Monitor the impact of commercial tactics employed and recommend adjustments
  • Continuously improve team processes to remain competitive on price, mitigate risks, and maintain resource efficiencies

Portsmouth: Chinese Translator 12 Month FTC

We have a vacancy within the translating team for a Chinese Translator to cover a 12 month maternity leave, working 20 hours per week, due to start in January 2017. This is an excellent opportunity to join Wiggle at an exciting time of growth for the company. The Translator & Proofreader will be assisting the Translation, Marketing and Customer Service teams with all related translation and communication matters.

You will be working as part of the translation team and provide support for the customer service team. As a Wiggle translator, you will be responsible for translating everything for your local TLD: website interface, marketing and digital content, technical products, help pages.

We are now recruiting for a Junior/Middleweight Commercial Designer to cover maternity leave, due to start in February 2017.

As part of the Marketing Team, you will provide commercial artwork and solutions across all channels including web, mobile and email. You will provide creative support for wider projects within Wiggle and be responsible for ensuring delivery of all creative assets to the highest of standards.  

 

Accountabilities:

  • Ensure design is consistent across all of Wiggle’s sites and emails.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered to agreed timescales, scheduled and free of errors.
  • Create translations and localized versions of banner and distribute effectively.
  • Ensure the creative theme should be in line with the brands current brand guidelines.

At Wiggle, we’re here for the #goodstuff, over the past few years that #goodstuff has been growing at a phenomenal rate, as a result we are growing our Online Marketing function to develop our global markets!

As Online Marketing Executive (US), you will play a key part in driving the growth of our websites. You will have responsibility for maximising profitability through the growth of sessions, revenue and market share across a variety of channels, including Organic, Paid Search, Google Shopping, Social and Remarketing.  You will also be required to build and maintain close working relationships with the wider Online Marketing team as well as other internal departments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create, own and deliver an online marketing plan for US / Canada
  • Maximise sales and profitability across US / Canada markets
  • Grow market share in the US / Canada tri sports market
  • Execute paid search, affiliate and display campaigns across a number of WiggleCRC markets
  • Work with Country Managers and Translation team to ensure traffic generating opportunities are maximised
  • Develop and optimise affiliate program
  • Identify new third party partners to increase external visibility of Wiggle content
  • Leverage placement buying efficiencies across the group
  • Regular analysis of campaign performance
  • Close working relationship with WiggleCRC subject experts to ensure latest technologies and best practices are adopted
  • Identify opportunities to achieve revenue growth targets
  • Other work as required by the team

What you will need:

  • Interest in, or knowledge of digital marketing required with hands on digital experience an advantage

Portsmouth: Business Analyst

Business Analyst

We are now hiring an experienced Business Analyst to join us at Wiggle!

As part of the Delivery team, you will engage in delivery of both strategic and small change to the Wiggle systems.  You will analyse, design and document solutions to meet the business objectives, support the in-house and remote development teams in the delivery of the solution and coordinate UAT and business-readiness tasks.  Your work will incorporate all infrastructure, Applications and customer-facing websites.

What you will do:

  • Work with business teams to identify, understand, prioritise and document business requirements, systems impacts and acceptance criteria.  Collate and analyse performance data to ensure informed decisions.
  • Investigate operational requirements, problems, and opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes.
  • Assist in the analysis of stakeholder objectives, and the underlying issues arising from investigations into business requirements and problems, and identifies options for consideration.
  • Work iteratively with stakeholders, to identify potential benefits and available options for consideration, and in defining acceptance tests.
  • Investigate operational needs and problems, and opportunities, contributing to the recommendation of improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes and organisation.
  • Support the development team to write scenarios / user stories / acceptance tests, agree work packages / sprints and produce estimates.
  • Identify any business readiness tasks required to support delivery.
  • Verify and accept the delivered work packages ensuring the development fulfils the business requirements.  Provide support to the test team and business teams to complete functional and acceptance testing.
  • Prepare the handover of products to the business and support teams through showcases and by documenting any business processes changes and producing user guides.
  • Track and report on task progress.
  • Take part in any ad hoc project work improving the performance of the business as and when required
  • Investigate, identify and present where appropriate, new technologies or processes that will enable the business units to deliver their strategic goals

What you will need:

  • Experience of working in a business analyst role, preferably within the retail industry, specifically ecommerce channels.  Experience working within the mobile channel and on international / multi-lingual sites would be an advantage.
  • Be willing to get involved in the full project life cycle and be passionate about ensuring delivery is of the highest quality.  
  • Previous experience managing small projects would be an advantage.
  • A good eye for detail and be able to demonstrate the ability to produce clear, concise, well supported documentation.

Reporting to the local General Manager, this is a Sydney based role and you’ll be working with our local partners and our UK-based marketing and merchandising teams.

A high level of expertise in Google Analytics and Excel is essential for the role.  An understanding and a passion for our focus in sports is a definite plus.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinating and prioritising of promotional content for our site and digital channels, based on sales information and the promotional calendar.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reporting to track the performance of the AU and NZ site, channel and product performance. Using these reports to make decisions and action outcomes to the benefit of the business.

At WiggleCRC, we are  growing at a phenomenal rate, as a result we are developing our Vitus & Prime brands and we need an outstanding Marketing Manager to support us through this exciting stage. 

As Marketing Manager, you will be the brand guardian for our WiggleCRC bike and bike components brands, Vitus and Prime, and you will lead and drive the marketing strategy, positioning and execution that will drive brand equity.  In this new role, you will use your passion for cycling to develop a brand positioning toolkit that will then be used to direct execution, and to build a brand marketing plan with clear objectives and activities that will drive the desired change in customer behaviour.   

This role will be based in either Portsmouth or Belfast and there will be a requirement to travel between both locations on a regular basis.

 What you will be doing:

  • Lead and build the Vitus and Prime Brand Positioning Toolkits.

As UI Designer, you will be responsible for the user interface design and HTML/CSS coding to support Wiggle’s global eCommerce sites across all devices.

As US Online Marketing Manager (Region Lead), you will be responsible for working across our websites to create, develop and own the overall online marketing strategy across core North American markets, as well as day to day responsibility for ROE markets. You will set strategies and lead innovation to maximise profitability and drive new customer acquisition through the growth of sessions, revenue and market share.  You will also manage and develop a small team, and develop and maintain close working relationships with other Regional Online Marketing Managers and other internal departments.

 Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Own the strategy across all channels for WiggleCRC’s US markets
  • Responsible for the budget and KPI targets across Paid Search, Remarketing, Affiliates, Display and other channels as appropriate
  • Manage and lead a team of four direct reports to improve knowledge, skills & performance
  • Maximise sales and profitability across US markets
  • Identify opportunities across all digital channels to achieve revenue growth targets and drive new customer acquisition
  • Grow market share in relevant tri sports markets
  • Overall responsibility for territory campaigns
  • Execution and evaluation of campaigns across ROE markets
  • Create business cases for new opportunities and engage key stakeholders
  • Work closely with Country Managers and Translators to ensure maximisation of traffic generating opportunities
  • Close working relationship with WiggleCRC subject matter experts to ensure latest technologies and best practices are adopted
  • Create and refine bidding strategy in accordance with Group Paid Media Manager
  • Regular analysis of campaign performance against targets and report back to the team / wider business
  • Other work as required by the team

 What you will need:

  • Online marketing experience required, working in a multi site enterprise role would be an advantage
  • Experience of managing online marketing teams (across non centralised teams would be an advantage)
  • Experience of working across multiple online channels
  • Experience of managing large budgets across different channels
  • Demonstrated history of improving direct reports
  • Ability to work on and deliver a number of projects
  • Retail or e-commerce experience desirable  
  • An interest and knowledge in tri-sports are also desirable
  • Be able to work effectively with minimal direction

 Competencies:

  • Co-ordinate, lead and improve a team of direct reports
  • Excellent analytical skills and commercial acumen
  • Ability to analyse campaign performance data and report back (sometimes to a non technical audience)

At WiggleCRC, we are growing at a phenomenal rate, as a result we are developing our dhb brand and we need a Brand Assistant with a passion for digital marketing to support us through this exciting stage!

In this new role, you will work closely with the dhb marketing team to execute the brand’s marketing plan and evaluate the change in customer behaviour.  You will also work closely with our soft goods development team to gain an understanding of the products to be launched each season. 

What you will do:

  • Ensure that all brand activity reflects the brand positioning.
  • Understand the dhb consumer; support the dhb marketing team in building consumer and customer understanding; champion this insight into the brand planning and brand communications, ensuring that the consumer is at the heart of all marketing activity.
  • Support the dhb marketing team in developing initiatives to maximise new customer acquisition and customer loyalty through our customer database.
  • Support the annual Brand Marketing Planning process, ensuring input and alignment to the Wiggle and Chain Reaction Cycles Integrated Marketing Plans.
  • Assist in the delivery of marketing communications activities.
  • Support the marketing team on the preparation for the seasonal shoots
  • Support the marketing team with providing the International Country Managers marketing assets for activity in key international territories; where needed create marketing tool kits with the assets (key channels, visual assets, key messages, brand guidelines, etc.)
  • Support the creation of content for dhb social media channels, including working closely with the in-house teams to create dhb content for Wiggle and Chain Reaction Cycles social media channels.  Help in posting relevant content to create a loyal and engaged community.  Evaluate activity and make recommendations on how to improve engagement.
  • Support the marketing team in the PR activation plan.
  • Lead optimisation of the dhb brand stores on each site with guidance from the dhb Marketing Manager.
  • Support the dhb activity at the Wiggle Events program; attend and execute activity where needed.
  • Identify consumer and trade show and event opportunities and provide a business case to attend and showcase the brands / ranges if appropriate.  Integrate into other house brand plans.
  • Support the marketing team in gaining understanding of the consumer and customer journeys.
  • Support the dhb brand team in optimising the content for the product pages.
  • Support weekly and monthly brand KPI reporting.
  • Conduct on-going competitor analysis and market reviews to provide insight to the business to support product development and brand communications.
  • Manage the FOC (free of charge) sample orders / loans and returns to stock across all activities, ensuring sign off before placing orders.
  • Raise and receipt requisitions in line with forecast, and report reasons when spend is under/over forecast.

 Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • A curiosity to understanding consumers and customers, and a passion to meet their needs
  • A passion for developing brand marketing campaigns, particularly in digital
  • Experience in creating social media content

What would you be doing?

We’re approaching the end of a significant phase in a major upgrade programme and now need an expert who can identify what we need and make it happen. You’ll be working across a number of discrete business areas and will be responsible for shaping the L&D offering to meet their individual needs.

  • Working closely with key stakeholders in order to identify training needs across the business
  • Organising current training courses and creating new ones in response to business requirements  
  • Delivering common courses
  • Assessing and supporting superusers in all aspects of their role
  • Working closely with IT to manage the availability of our training environment

 About you

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent
  • Able to demonstrate solid prior experience of maintaining sole responsibility for managing the L&D function
  • Experience of developing and implementing a learning/ training strategy across a number of sites
  • Experience in developing best practice learning and development solutions
  • Experience of designing and implementing people performance management processes
  • Highly organised and proactive with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills in order to produce high quality materials to the business
